February 12 (Day 354)

After massive attack on Friday, the day without alarms yesterday was a blessing. And there was one more reason why the day was special. February 11 is our church birthday, twenty seven years ago we had our first worship as a church. So our worship today will be full of memories.

There was a call from Nadya yesterday with hello from Sasha. He is doing better, he can sit now and can move his toes. The wound on his back is healing slowly. The doctor told that the process of recovery will be slow. But it’s good that little by little there is some progress. Their two daughters went to see their dad last week. They were glad to spend some time there and Sasha was glad to see them.

We had a group meeting yesterday and talked about love. Next week there will be a Valentine’s day and everybody will talk about love to turn away at least for a while from the difficult topics of war. We read 1 Corinthians 13, discussed the different love types from the New Testament (storge, fillios, eros and agape). We shared stories and talked about love languages. Everybody wanted to talk and people were open to this topic. It was nice to have warm and loving atmosphere.

At the time when we have our group meeting there are usually many people in the café and they can listen to our talks. Some people ask if they can sit near and participate. We always welcome everybody who shows interest.

We wish you a good worship day.
In Christ,
Lyuda
